However, I thought it would be helpful to post the issue I ran into recently when making a Power Automate flow for Office365 email attachment from a shared mailbox to an FTP site that were ending up blank or null with a CSV file. This was flow was created after watching a YouTube video as my organization did not have access to the template for whatever reason. Make sure you have this option selected under Advanced Options! Include Attachments: YES I won't recreate the steps already provided by Microsoft but here is the screenshot of rest of the flow. No third-party tools needed for this! Checking a File's Hash - Windows, powershell, command prompt

Use this command prompt on Windows to check the SHA256 or MD5 hash from a file. certutil -hashfile <path> SHA256 certutil -hashfile <path> MD5 Replace the path with the actual file: certutil -hashfile <C:\Users\xxxx\Downloads\kali-linux-2022.3-installer-amd64.iso> SHA256 certutil -hashfile <C:\Users\xxxx\Downloads\kali-linux-2022.3-installer-amd64.iso> MD5 Another way to do this is in PowerShell. Get-FileHash C:\users\xxxx\Downloads\kali-linux-2022.3-installer-amd64.iso Output: Algorithm       Hash                                                                   Path ---------       ----                                              ...

Decommissioning a Small Business Server 2011 Standard without Exchange

Scenario: Client has their Emails hosted on Office365, applications on a new server, and new server is setup with DHCP/DNS/File Services. In the environment exists a Windows Small Business Server 2011 Standard server with FSMO roles, and the new 2019 Server. At the end of these steps, we should be able completely off this SBS server, and on our new Windows Server 2019 server. DNS on both servers are pointed at each other, meaning server A has server B as primary, and server B has server A as DNS primary. Transition Process: 1. Run DC Diag to discover any possible errors or issues. I ran into this error, but event logs ended up saying these completed after these errors showed up. 2. Transfer FSMO Roles 3. Performed these steps SBS-DECOM and DNS cleanup. Reference Article: Transition from Small Business Server to Standard Windows Server

Windows 10 Explorer.exe not working

It's been a while since my last post. Recently we had run into a Windows 10 issue where explorer.exe kept crashing for a user. The resolution was right-clicking on the desktop. Go to Personalize. Themes, on the left navigation bar. Then select "theme settings". Try using the "Windows" default theme. If that worked for you, crazy huh! We followed several registry edits, etc. etc.

Watchguard HTTP Invalid Request-Line Format Error

Image
My brother in-law was having some issues connecting his Playstation 4 to Grand Theft Auto V's online servers. The resolution was to create an Packet Filter for port 80 From my Trusted network to the IP address of the server IP shown as 192.168.200.1. It is an example only, and may be different to your setup. In the example below, 10.0.1.2 is the PS4. The rule was also placed above the HTTP proxy. Example Only: D eny 1-Trusted 0-External tcp 10.0.1.2 192.162.200.1 52668 80 msg="ProxyDeny: HTTP Invalid Request-Line Format" proxy_act="HTTP-Client.5" line="e\x04\x04" (HTTP-proxy-00) Per WatchGuard Knowledge Base ( Article ID :000007959) , This has to be done, because The PS4 Rockstar servers are using an invalid HTTP Requests over Port 80 that does not abide by RFC Standards for the HTTP Protocol.

Free web port scanning utility

I learned of this site back in college, and its been a good resource since to testing what ports are vulnerable from your network. GRC ShieldsUP!  https://www.grc.com/ Select Services > ShieldsUP! Read the warnings! You can test All Service Ports  and it will take you to another page that will lists all available ports, or you can probe certain ones.
