WatchGuard obtain Log

Retrieving a support.tgz file during the problem for further analysis.

Before retrieving the support.tgz file:

Verify logging is on:
-- Using Watchguard System Manager (WSM) connect to the Firebox
-- Open Policy Manager (Tools > Policy Manager)
-- In Policy Manager go to Setup > Logging and ensure the "send logs to Firebox internal storage" option is checked. If it is checked skip to "retrieving support.tgz"
-- If the option is not checked, check it and click OK.
-- Save the changes to the Firebox
-- Close Policy Manager

**NOTE: If the "send logs to..." option was not checked you will have to wait for the issue to occur again before retrieving the support.tgz file.***

Retrieve support.tgz:
-- Back in WSM go to Tools > Firebox System Manager (FSM)
-- Once FSM opens go to the Status Report tab
-- On the Status Report tab click the "Support..." button in the bottom right
-- Make note of the path listed in the "Save File As:" line
-- Click the Retrieve button (this will generate the support.tgz file in the directory specified)
